Eileen Kozloff is an award winning musician having won competitions for her songwriting, singing and instrumental work. Originally based in Central Pennsylvania, she plays in a variety of band configurations as well as , performing solo. Eileen is well known for her soaring vocals, stunning harmonies and commanding performances. Her ability to compose, play and sing in a wide range of genres has made her a versatile festival performer and workshop teacher. In addition to performing at festivals, concerts and dance venues, she has appeared "live on several radio and televsion broadcasts. For several years she was a Rostered Artist with the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts, Artist-in-Residence program. Eileen is a multi-instrumentalist but has been actively involved in the autoharp world for nearly a quarter of a century. Her autoharp repertoire is a rich mix of Old Time chestnuts, Carter Family songs and original music. She is best known for her unique "pick-less"style of diatonic autoharp. Eileen's discography includes two critically acclaimed CD's with her former band, Well Tempered String Band. Now blazing a trail on her own, she has released two CD's under the MoosiCowlia Label: "Solitary Rider" (2006) and "Hearts and Souls Entwined" (2007). Her recordings have garnered stellar reviews.
